Coal Company Doctors The only doctor I remember going
to as a child in WV was the coal company doctor. Although this picture predates
when we saw coal company doctors, it still brings back memories. Prior to
leaving WV, Mom worked for the coal company doctor in Montcoal.

corner of main treatment room in dispensary. He employs other doctors
who take care of Big Sandy and Murraytown where many miners employed
