HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS DEMAND WARS
IN EASIER-TO-FIND COUNTRIES
I enjoyed this Satire because it shows that we students are smarter than what most people think of us. It also makes a point to say that we need to not wage war with so many insignifacant countries, and concentrate on larger more important problems.
AT&T TO CUT WORKFORCE 120 PERCENT
I think this satire is very true. People who run or own businesses are willing to do whatever they have to to make a buck. If they could cut 120 percent of their work force they would just to make money. It doesnt matter to them how much many people they layoff, or families they leave hanging

Does Freedom of speech allow you to burn the Flag, to sit silent while others say the pledge of allegiance, or to disrespect the men who have fought for your freedom? Freedom of speech is one of the greatest liberties that this great country has given us. We can speak out against our neighbor, the media, and even our government. It has stabilized our democratic form of government enabling us to be critical of out leaders.
Freedom of speech allows us to rebel against our government like terrorists by burning flags. We are allowed to set fire to “old glory” the flag, which our grandfathers, uncles, and brothers have fought and died for, because the flag has no more significance than speaking out against the president. It’s just a way for us to get attention.
Freedom of speech allows us to refuse to stand and say the pledge. Why should we have to stand for it? It’s early in the mourning and it only shows allegiance and support to our country.
Freedom of speech allows us to call our own soldiers murderers. It allows us to bad mouth and look down upon the men who have risked their lives so that we can live with such liberties. After Vietnam soldiers returned from decades of service to find that we didn’t appreciate their sacrifices. But why would we they fought in a war that we didn’t support because of the politicians.
Freedom of speech has allowed us to burn flags, ignore the pledge of allegiance, and to bad-mouth our soldiers, but I ask the question “ Are these acts Freedom of Speech, or are they acts of Treason?”

● I like how your satire sarcastically points out if the acts are acts of freedoms or acts of treason. I also like how we learned this in Government class and you are using it as a subject in your paper. I like how your writing stands out and had me thinking myself.
● The nature of the problem is indeed clear as well as real. The problem is real because there are many people who are burning flags and ignoring the pledge of allegiance because of religions after we fought so hard for our freedoms. The problem is clear in the way that the paper is addressing ,as a satire, if these acts are freedoms or treasons.
● This satire is creative because one can obviously tell that this paper was thought through as well as going beyond and exploring topics that I would not have even thought of. I like how you used creativity in making people actually wonder about the topics as freedoms or treasons.
● The tone is appropriate due to the fact that this paper is written as a satire and you used sarcasm to write it.
● The ideas are clear enough because in a satire you should not straight up just say solutions, you have to sarcastically present them. One question I have is your own opinion on if your beliefs on these acts. Do you believe they are freedoms or just acts of treason?
● I like the writing style because it is a very intelligent writing and there were many things presented that stood out that interested me. There were a few mechanical errors but I am sure you will find them! LOL!
● You did present specific details and it was obvious that you thought about them.
● Well I think that this is a very good satire compared to mine. After reading it I could not think of anything that could make it any better because I thought that it was really good. I just think that adding your own belief would make this satire better.

I think that my satire is a cross between a satire and a commentary. I think if need to make some adjustments, but i did try and involve some satarical points of view. Its the first time i have tried to write this way so its not perfect but with a some adjustments i should be able to keep my topic. I think i am going to involve a story line with my satire.

Does Freedom of speech allow you to burn the Flag, to sit silent while others say the pledge of allegiance, or to disrespect the men who have fought for your freedom? I think it does. I have used this excuse hundreds of times, and people just shut right up. They don’t have anything to say. Freedom of speech is one of the greatest liberties that this great country has given us. I want to push it to the limit just like everything else I do.
Freedom of speech allows me to rebel against our government like terrorists by burning flags. Not to mention the fact that it really fires up our teachers. I love to rebel against them for giving us so much homework.
All those government people are one and the like.
Freedom of speech has allowed us to burn flags, ignore the pledge of allegiance, and to bad-mouth our soldiers. It’s great to be an American. I love this country.

This is a very good satire. I think you tweaked it just right. The sarcasticness of this satire shows just the opposite of what you really mean. The nature of the problem is indeed clear as well as real. I feel that this satire makes so much sense. It explains what really happens in our society.
Your own feelings to this really make this ture to heart.

Why do we need a government anyways? We burn our flag, spit on our soldiers, ignore the Pledge, and they allow us to do it. What is a country without any pride? I wish we didn’t have a government at all. An anarchy would be perfect. We would have all the freedom in the world, but no one would mistreat their freedoms in an anarchy. The U.S just teases us with these limited freedoms.
Freedom of speech has allowed us to burn flags, ignore the pledge of allegiance, and to bad-mouth our soldiers, but I want more. I wish we were able to say what ever we wanted whenever we wanted. I want to just yell fire right before a movie starts, so I can get a better seat. What would it hurt? It’s my freedom. Right?
