I like the satire done by Dane Cook about public restrooms. It is very funny and it brings up good points about public restrooms.

It happens almost every day. You’re late. You have to hurry to get where you’re going. You’re going sixty in a fifty-five when all of a sudden you are forced to drop to fourty-five. You wonder how did this happen? You were just going sixty miles per hour! Then you see the culprit right in front of you.
These culprit’s fit one description. They are first of all going way below the speed limit. Secondly, you aren’t sure if someone is driving the car because the driver is so short. If you are able to see them, you will see that they are right against the steering wheel, barely being able to see over the top of it. The last thing you will notice is that they are all extremely old. Who are these people? They are the slow drivers!
Why do these people feel the need to drive super slow? Well, I feel that it is because all of slow drivers want to see the younger generations get extremely mad. We all live in a fast-paced world, but these slow drivers seem to want to rebel and slow things down. Way down.
Here’s another question. Why do they always seem to appear whenever you are late? I think that it could possibly be God getting a little vengeance. I think that he magically places these people in front of you just to tick you off. It could also be that these people have a sixth sense and know when the person behind them is running late, and just to be mean, old people, they decelerate.
Those drivers aren’t even the worst drivers. I hate the drivers that pass you, and then for some unknown reason slow down below the speed limit. What is wrong with these people?!
I actually think that this is the only immature fun these old, slow drivers get to do in their old days. When you’re old, you are expected by society to be mature, but let’s face it. These people like to be immature sometimes for fun just like any of us. In order to do this without society downgrading them, they just slow down in front of you. I know that when they see you slamming your head off of the steering wheel and swearing to yourself, they begin laughing hysterically. Maybe we need to give the old people their fun without complaining, but I really don’t want to.

Yeah……my essay is definitely not a satire. I think that it is funny, but it is not done in a sarcastic way. I will have to change the format, which should be fairly easy.

You know those drivers that drive along at ten miles below the speed limit? Why aren’t more people like them? I think everyone should drive like that.
Let’s think about this. Wouldn’t you rather be calm and relaxed when you drive? That is what would happen if you would drive under the speed limit. You wouldn’t be stressed out either because everyone else would be driving like you. Nice and slow. Doesn’t it just sound calming?
We should just lower speed limits everywhere. Especially in the areas where we are forced to drive super slow anyway. I can’t think of anything I would rather do than to spend a little extra time trying to get where I’m going. It would be just like riding in a horse and buggy!
It would also be a great thing to do because there wouldn’t be any more road rage. There wouldn’t be fatal accidents because everyone would be going to slow for it to matter.
Also, no one would care if they were late. You really just need to go slow and take your time getting places. No one would get mad if you were late. Everyone would be calm. I mean, who really needs to be on time when you could be staying calm. I know that I wouldn’t be on time. That’s what all slow drivers feel like. It’s a very relaxing thought.
Wouldn’t it be great if everyone would drive just like those old people that really tick you off whenever you’re late? I know that I would be much happier knowing that I would never need to tailgate anyone ever again.
