Ever wonder why everywhere you look, things are getting bigger? It seems everything, food, automobiles, prices, even the average American is almost larger than life. Extra large is now an everyday event. Some people think that this is a problem. I, however, think that this is exactly what we need. All the problems in this world could simply be solved if everyone was equal. The best way to achieve equality isn’t by working. It’s by slacking. Instead of thriving for everyone to best they could be, I think we should strive to be lazy and overweight, after all we’re almost there now.
It is much easier to achieve a lazy lifestyle than one of hard work. Technological advances already make life easier, so within the next five to ten years there is no reason we shouldn’t be able to automate everything we use. This would make becoming lazy even more likely than it is now. Imagine what it would be like if every nation in to world were too lazy to do anything. There would be no more wars or fighting of any kind. Nobody would be viewed as inferior because everyone would be equally worthless.
Problems like the economy dying out because of the lack of work being done could be easily resolved by using the already existing militaries to earn money for their respective countries. Every country could build different supplies needed to live. They could all trade goods to give to the citizens, which are completely comfortable in their own world of laziness. It would be a perfect society where everybody could live happily. Every person would get an equal share of money and supplies needed for living. There would be no reason for anyone to be jealous of anyone else, so there would be no reason to cause trouble.
Society would finally be completely peaceful. It would be amazing, and simple. The solution was right under our noses the whole time. I can’t believe it wasn’t found earlier.

I don’t think that I really agree with the argument. Though, that’s how people in this world think; they want everything to be simple. I want all the things like war and fighting to stop, but I don’t think this is the best solution. People in this world need to know how to work for things they want. Too many people today are just being handed things instead of having to work for it. If there is nothing to work for and be proud of then why should they even care about life then. Everyone has rough times but when something really good happens people are actually able to appreciate it.

Think about the last time you went to a mall, how many things could you pick out that were geared towards the heavily challenged. Extra large is now something that’s not only regular, but also expected. Some people think that this is a problem. I, however, think that this is exactly what we need.
