Have you ever had a neighbor that had dogs and couldn’t keep them in their yard? Ever find those nice, little doggy piles and get angry because you don’t have any dogs? Well I have. I once had a neighbor that had a ridiculous amount of dogs. Every time I would go outside to mow the lawn I would see a bunch of little doggy piles scattered across the yard. What is one to do in this situation? Does one ask the pesky neighbor very politely to keep his or her dogs in their yard? Perhaps put up a fence to keep the dogs away? Or does one go to the extreme and wait on the porch with a shot gun in hand and try to catch the dog or dogs doing the deed? It seems like the dogs do it just to make me angry. It is like they have some kind of vendetta against me. Or maybe the neighbors are doing it on purpose. They know how it makes me angry so they send their dogs to my yard and watch them do their business just to spite me. Whatever the reason this problem must stop before neighbors all over the world are missing their precious little puppy dogs.

What a cute topic!! I think this a good topic for a satire. The only thing i would change is to try to use a couple of paragraphs. You used a great vocabulary. Good idea to start with a question and have more questions. Good Job!!

Mine is not a satire because it isn’t very sarcastic or witty. It is just stating a problem and a few solutions.

I once had a neighbor that had a ridiculous amount of dogs. Every time I would go outside to mow the lawn I would see a bunch of little doggy piles scattered across the yard.Oh how I loved it! I loved walking outside and seeing all the little piles and maybe even stepping in one of them! It was especially fun to mow the lawn without first picking them up. Oh! how I loved my neighbors for having such wonderful dogs!
So you might ask what is one to do in this situation? Does one ask the wonderful neighbor very politely to keep his or her dogs in their yard? Perhaps put up a fence to keep the dogs away? Or does one go to the extreme and wait on the porch with a shot gun in hand and try to catch the little doggies doing the deed? Whatever the solution it is going to be fun getting rid of those wonderful piles!

They know how it makes me angry so they send their dogs to my yard and watch them do their business just to spite me. They get some kind of sick pleasure from watching me pick up those little piles with a huge smile on my face. Whatever the reason, this problem must stop before neighbors all over the world are missing their precious little puppy dogs.

This is definately a satire. You can feel the sarcasm in the satire. Very good job!! The only thing I’m not sure about is the question in the beginning. It is kind of misleading the sarcasm.

Oh! how I loved my neighbors for having such wonderful dogs!
So you might ask what is one to do in this situation? Does one ask the wonderful neighbor very politely to keep letting his or her dogs in your yard? Perhaps tell the neighbors thank you for keeping your grass green and healthy? Or does one go to the extreme and wait on the porch with doggy treats in hand and try to make the little doggies do the deed? Whatever the solution is it is going to be fun getting more of those wonderful piles!
To me it seems like the dogs do it just to make me happy. It is like they love seeing me so happy and thrilled all of the time. Or maybe the neighbors are doing it on purpose. They know how it makes me so enthused so they send their dogs to my yard and watch them do their business just to thrill me. They get some kind of pleasure from watching me pick up those little piles with a huge smile on my face. Whatever the reason, this problem must continue before my grass dies and my flowers are no longer in bloom from all the fertilizer they got.
